'Cats celebrate homecoming with dramatic win

Ben Behrendt '11 kicked a 23-yard field goal with 42.5 seconds left to lift Davidson to a 38-35 come-from-behind victory over Jacksonville on Homecoming.

Behrendt's kick capped a string of 24 unanswered points for the Wildcats to end the game and rally from a 35-14 third quarter deficit.

Terps trample Tigers

During Saturday's game, Clemson fans were starting to believe in the Tigers again. The stadium had an atmosphere that rivaled the Georgia Tech game two years ago. Unfortunately, the game against Maryland Saturday was a perfect example of what can happen when an inferior team with inferior talent is allowed to remain in the game.

Clemson at Wake Forest

Clemson will take on nationally ranked Wake Forest in its first true road game of the year on Thursday night. Clemson has historically dominated the Demon Deacons. Clemson leads 56-16-1 overall in a series that dates back to 1933. In the Tommy Bowden era, Clemson also leads the series 7-2.
